Camping near beach with restaurant at the place. Delicious pizza, reasonable prices. Quite small parcels though (but it's not a big issue). Clean rest rooms and showers, welcoming stuff.
We stayed for two nights, the first night we had the last place (47), this was a noisy place, in the morning they changed it without any hesitation. The staff is incredibly friendly, the sanitation is perfect and clean. We really enjoyed it here. Thanks for the friendly service.
Positioned VERY well for seeing Menton, Monaco, Cannes etc. Also a nice pebbly beach on the doorstep and a cafe that do great pizza's!
We used the buses, but Valecrosia town is grim and the people are not the kind you'd usually mix with on holiday. Gangs of youths hanging around and clearly an immigration issue in Ventimiglia, evident by police beating people out of train stations
The site is very clean and well serviced, although cramped and not hugely private.
Nice pigeons though.
We have returned to Camping Vallecrosia after having stayed here in 2010. Again, the same friendly atmosphere as before, more than ten years later. Small camp site, sea across the street. Perfectly located to give Ventimiglia and Bordighera a visit by foot. What has changed from our persisted memories is the bar and pizza house in the entrance, which is lovely!
Btw the restaurant „Storie Di Mare“ across the street is fabulous!
Fabulous campsite, I stayed 6 nights in a Camper. Re pitch sizes, I called to reserve a Pitch and was informed that there was 1 Pitch left that was small but big enough to park camper. But I was also told that if I didn't like it on arrival I could choose to not take it. On arrival I was greeted by a wonderful Lady (owner) and went and looked at pitch, yes it was small but i was able to move to a Bigger Pitch , which in 2 days I did. Facilities are old but are good and clean. Hot water in the Showers and washing up area as well as where Men can shave. located across from the water which is excellent. If like me you don't have bikes then its a easy walk into Ventimiglia around 25min or 5min walk into Vallecrosia where you can catch the Bus into train station in Ventimiglia and catch trains all along the Riviera. There are 3 Bars across the Rd on the water and are all owned/run by Wonderful People. The Friendliness off the owner and staff are what makes this Campsite stick out.
Grazie mille per avermi fatto sentire a casa FRED.
Kind Regards
Michael
This campsite is full of trouble and deceit. We rented a whole house with beds, a kitchen and a shower, paying full price for it. There are no towels and for each taken you have to pay extra, and no one talks about it in advance. The beds were not completely made. In addition to the fact that we cleaned ourselves, we were forced to take out the garbage across the entire territory of the campsite, no one spoke about this in advance either, there is no cleaning. All three days that we were there there was no Internet. We approached and complained, we were told that they apologize and in the morning the technicians will solve this problem. But in the morning no one came and lunch too, only when we ourselves came to the reception in the evening they remembered. The girl said that her colleague had not told them anything and they would send their colleague in 20 minutes to look. No one came. A woman came closer to the night and said that they had a thunderstorm and therefore the Internet did not work and left. It was very annoying and irresponsible. Additional charges apply for dogs. You also need to pay taxes on top, and the most interesting thing is that they take payment after the check-out, not immediately upon arrival, apparently, because they have a lot of hidden expenses, for this they take a deposit of 100 euros in advance. I do not recommend anyone to stay here! 👎👎👎👎👎👎🤬🤬😡😡
We were struggling to find a pitch for a few nights in September, and were very happy and lucky to get a spot here. The reception staff were really helpful, and having arrived for a one night "emergency" stop, we were able to extend our …
Thank you very much for a lovely time at your camping. Very hospitable, clean, good service and so on. A very special thanks to Sari and Constanza (young students) who were able to deliver the service a proffesional should do. There enthousiasm is an asset to the camping. Good luck with your studies guys!
The location is splendid and hopefully a (small) swimmingpool may be the ultimate upgrade. However, if possible, do something about the sewer smell we sometimes experienced ;)
Hope to come back soon!
